We first visit Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural experimentation center made up of circular terraces. Here, you will observe a remarkable temperature variation between the upper levels and the bottom, which allowed the development of diverse crops in controlled microclimates.
Next, we head to the Maras Salt Mines, located 7 km from Moray. On the way, we pass through the traditional village of Maras. This complex consists of approximately 3,000 salt pools where salt is extracted artisanally through the evaporation of saltwater from a natural spring, preserving an ancestral technique that remains in use today.
We then return to Cusco, ending the service one block from the Plaza de Armas around 03:00 p.m.
