DAY 1: UROS – AMANTANÍ (LOCAL HOMESTAY EXPERIENCE)
Pickup from your hotel between 7:30 a.m. and transfer to the port to begin navigation across Lake Titicaca. The first visit is to the Uros Islands, built entirely from totora reeds. You will learn how these platforms are constructed, their daily organization, and the importance of their culture on the lake. Optionally, you may take a ride on a traditional totora reed boat offered by the locals.
We continue the navigation to Amantaní. Upon arrival, we walk to the homes of local families who will warmly welcome us. Enjoy a lunch prepared with typical island products.
In the afternoon, we hike to the ceremonial center of Pachatata, located at the highest part of the island, where you will witness one of the most beautiful sunsets over Lake Titicaca.
In the evening, you will participate in a cultural activity with music and dances, where you can wear traditional clothing and share time with the community.

DAY 2: AMANTANÍ – TAQUILE – RETURN TO PUNO
After a local breakfast prepared by the host family, we sail towards Taquile Island.
Upon arrival, we begin a walk along paths surrounded by agricultural terraces and privileged lake views. At the main square, the guide will explain the customs and the renowned textile tradition of the island, declared Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. You will have time to observe and purchase handicrafts made by the locals.
Finally, we descend to the dock to return to Puno, where transport will take you back to your hotel, arriving around 5:00 p.m.
