Itinerary

06:30 a.m. – 06:45 a.m. | Hotel pickup (Cusco Historic Center)

We begin with pickup from your hotel and head north of Cusco to start our Sacred Valley tour with Maras and Moray.

Chinchero

Our first stop will be Chinchero, a picturesque Andean village known for its textile tradition. Here, you will learn about the ancestral process of Andean weaving at a local artisan center and visit its colonial church built on ancient Inca foundations.

Moray Circular Terraces

We continue to Moray, considered an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory. Its circular terraces were used to experiment with different microclimates and cultivation techniques. You will have time to explore the site and admire its impressive design.

Maras Salt Mines

Next, we visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, a set of more than 3,000 salt pools exploited since pre-Inca times. From the viewpoint, you will admire this unique landscape formed by white terraces descending along the mountainside.

Urubamba – Buffet Lunch

We then head to Urubamba, known as the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of Peruvian dishes.

Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complex

After lunch, we visit the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the most important archaeological complexes of the Inca Empire. Here, you can explore its temples, agricultural terraces, and cobblestone streets that still preserve their original structure.

Travelers continuing their journey to Machu Picchu may remain in Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.

Pisac Archaeological Site

Finally, we visit Pisac, famous for its extensive agricultural terraces and its traditional artisan market.

Return to Cusco

At the end of the tour, we return to Cusco, arriving around 7:30 p.m. near the Plaza de Armas in the historic center.
